I like the Teryx and Rino because they cover fun and work. Not to big, they can get through the woods. Polaris RZR is more of a trail machine with to of small of bed. Polaris Ranger very popular, little more work oriented. But not as much as a Kubota. Skidoos are popular but they are expensinve, I don't like yellow either.

Big part of the decision for me was looking around and seeing what I could get a deal on. Not a lot of used SxS, people same to hang on to them, and not around long enough. Though they seem dominate the trails where I am. Though they are to wide to be on some trails in some areas.

Nice color, you gonna put a winch and snowplow on it sometime?
No;snow plowing is my tractor's job.My BIL has a 2015 Viking/snow-plow set-up and it does a very good job.
The dealer I traded with sold my 2006 Rhino in less than a week.
It was a very clean machine and well taken care of.

Amy thoughts on a Kawasaki MULE™ 610 4x4 XC CAMO?

Went by a local Dealer and they wanted to deal on a new 2015 model...

Also learned in California requires off road registration and fees even is used on private land... learn something every day.

Plus in CA you will probably get gelded engine.

I'm pretty sure a mule 610 is the same as my mule 600 except the 610 is 4wd. This mule isn't very strong. It has a lousy hauling capacity of 400 pounds and a low towing capacity of 1100 pounds. Besides that it is pretty good. Mine is a 2008 with 500 hours. I have never had any trouble from it. I got to use a buddies RTV 900 today and that thing is sweet. The engine braking is super effective. If your not careful it will throw you into the dash. I climbed a couple hills that were easily over 20 degrees. His was a 4wd, but I was able to climb them in 2wd. Also the bed was equipped with hydraulic dump. A luxury not found on many other side by sides. I climbed the far side of this bank in 2wd.

Used to be you could buy a UTV or ATV and opt out of getting a title at all. Now, dealers provide
a title and 2-year OHV registration. This 2-yr reg (green sticker or red sticker) is $52 every 2y. Once
yours comes due, register as "non-op" for $18, and never pay again for reg. If you fail to renew
or non-op, the state will come after you for late fees for years to come.

This is what I was told... the penalties and fees add up fast if you ignore... guess you need the sticker if anywhere but private land?

I think California is the only place where the owner must pay NOT to use their vehicle...

Thanks for the info...

Reliable and dependable with ease of service would top my list...

Anyone change the CV belt on one of these?

Looking online it seems a gates belt is about $55

My other CV question is how much engine braking is there if any or is going slow downhill mean riding the brakes?

How about the Gator 6x6 diesel? We used them all the time on steep hills when i was in the military. Workhorse, powerhouse and unstoppable. Not very fast but a good fir for your application.

Probably the most capable... I think it would be too big to fit in the back of the pickup.

Good suggestion!
