AC for smaller tractor

Is there anything out that will give a smaller tractor the ability to have a cab with AC? Any and all info you can give on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone for your time.

I can tell you about my cab for the small tractors.
The http://www.cabdepot.com cabs are great. I have one on my CK20, and the heater is more than enough for any New England winter. I would bet that you could get a small A/C unit for it. That would be real nice.

Yes, you can take it to Newton Tractor in Chico or Yuba City. The number to the one in Chico is 530-343-5032. The number to the one in Yuba City is 530-671-2061. They are the best and the most knowledgable.

There are very few tractors that can take an aftermarket A/C unit because there is no room under the hood for a compressor and heat exchanger. HP is also an issue on smaller machines as the extra hardware sucks up at 3HP.

Unfortunately it does draw anywhere from 4 to 8 hp to run an A/C unit with sufficient power to cool a cab that is mostly glass. If you have a hydro unit, many people say that takes away a certain percentage of power as well. So, if you were to add a cab with A/C to a 20 hp tractor, you'd end up with about a 10 hp tractor. Now try to move around and do any sort of real work at all with a 10 hp tractor that weighs 2500 to 3000 pounds or more, and you'd have one useless tractor. That is basically the thought process of why the manufacturers are not going to offer A/C in a 20 hp tractor. If it were a gear drive tractor, and weighed about 1500 pounds max, you may be able to use a 48" mower with it if the grass wasn't too high.
