Acceptable hours on used zero - gas and diesel?

Don't buy the rebuilt one, it's been used up and is overpriced.
Either buy new or low hours used. 48-60" deck will not make much difference on 1.5 Acres.
I bough a Scag wildcat from my commercial lawn guy with 200 hours and bagger, for $8K a number of years ago. It has been awesome. I cut a lot of acres per/week and it never skips a beat. Made in USA too.

I think pretty much all the commercial zero turns are made in USA right? I haven't heard of any that are not...

I was looking for the same type of machine. I was looking for a Exmark, Ferris, Hustler or Scag for the past year and this fall i picked up a used Scag Wildcat that had the Kawasaki liquid cooled engine with 1000 hrs on it for $4400 in mint condition. The dealer didn't want to set on it thru the winter so I got a good price.

Given how fast I can mow now, I figure that I'll only put 30 - 40 hrs a year on it, so it should last me as long as I want to mow lawn.

What you want does exist, but they're not easy to find!
