I'm new to loaders, so bear with me on the terminology. What I would call, and please let me know the correct name, the FEL control valve/handle is bolted to the FEL framework. When I dismount the FEL, this will stay on the loader. There are 2 quick connects at the pump, press and return I assume and a smaller quick connect up near the valve/handle. To leave the valve/handle on the tractor, I'd need quick connects on the 4 hoses feeding the FEL cylinders instead. Then I could use them to feed my plow cylinders.

Is this what you have?

The more I think about this and the more I price valves, hoses and quick connects... I may just mount this up and use the hydraulics on the plow until they die. It is a fully functioning unit with downpressure. The only problem might be the charging system... can always run a 2nd battery if necessary.

If the plow in question has electric over hydraulic your tractor's charging system will never handle it. That type plow draws a lot of amps to operate. Your tractor has all it can do to keep one battery charged and won't do two.

Good point, it used to stress the charging system on my truck. I plan to put ssqa on my loader. Would it pay to put a ssqa on my plow? I was figuring on putting the plow bracket on the tractor and removing the loader when using the plow. Is pushing snow too much stress on the loader arms? I see a lot of guys on here doing it, does it work as well as a frame mounted plow bracket? If I did the ssqa on the plow, I could just put quick connects on the dump cylinders of the loader and use those hoses for my plow turn cylinders. Thoughts?

I have a truck plow I adapted to SSQA. I lift with the loader arms and angle with rear remotes. With a light tractor and the blade angled the tractor will get pushed around by heavy snow. There are a lot of posts on here with many plow to tractor conversions including mine. Do a google search at the top of the page or check similar posts at the bottom of the page. Yes, you can use the dump / curl ports to angle the plow.
