Today while going through hell trying to run a hot wire to my W.R. Long remote "kit" and install the final hose clamp to keep a hose off the right rear tire, I learned something interesting.
After going through the misery of running the valve's hot wire around and under the tractor to the fuse box, I found out that Kubota had made a fuse box for maybe 20 fuses, but on the back side, there was only enough conductor for FOUR. Glad they saved half a yen on that part.
I had no idea what to do. Adding another fuse to the box was impossible. Maybe someone out there sells the metal stuff that goes on the back of fuse boxes, but believe it or not, I didn't have a drawerful of such parts in my shop.
I found out about Add-a-Circuit. This is a product you can get at an auto parts place. It has prongs like a fuse. You pull a fuse, put the Add-a-Circuit in its place, and put the old fuse and your new fuse in the Add-a-Socket. It has a wire that goes to your new circuit, and the wire comes with a connector crimped to it.
Now my fuse box cover will not go back on, so I have to figure that out, but I thought I should recommend this product to other desperate people.
