Add a FEL to a YM2210???

I was wondering if I could add a FEL to a YM2210? It would also need a power steering kit as well. Is this possible or should I sell it and get one that is FEL ready? I love the tractor but I HAVE to HAVE a FEL. I'm located in louisiana if anyone knows of someone that could pull this off for me or sell me the parts (new or used) so I could do it myself. If not I will have a great tractor for sell!

You can put a loader on you will just need some rear ballast to get the most out of it. Power steering is nice but defiantly not mandatory for the loader. Our shop tractor is a 2210 with a loader and it is abused to death and we carry some very heavy loads in the bucket. When I get in a tight spot and need to crank the wheels I drop the loader pick the front tires off the ground spin the wheel, pick the loader up and take off. You get really good at it after a while.

I Have a 2210BD that I got from EFC with a FEL and it works great. I also have found that if I need to turn the wheels when stationary, puting down the bucket and taking the front wheels off the ground then turning works great. A FEL is really needed go for it. I will be loading logs on my sawmill with the FEL and just assumed I would need power steering. I guess I will take it one step at a time. If it doesn't work out I can save the FEL for my next tractor with power steering. Oddly enough, on my way home I passed a YM2210D with FEL!!! I got that sinking feeling in my stomach. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I think I was jealous.

Don't be jealous. Your 2wd will carry more weight in the bucket than a 4wd and if you do break a front axel by chance, you can always weld up a new one. Try to do that with a 4wd.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
