Add a step/foot peg- B2710

If you find the first step up to your Kubota to be a little tall, as I do, then this might be for you. Using an existing hole in the FELframe, I ran a 7/16" tap thru it to make threads for a high strengthbolt and fashioned this step from scraps. It was done hastily as aprototype, but after 200 hrs of use it has held up well. No doubtsome of you could do a better job designing it and I just want toshare the idea with other owners. .....RayBee

Yep, as long as it works for you; looks great. For me personally, I'm so clumsy, it just looks dangerous. I'd probably fall on it, skin my shins, or break a leg, or worse./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Bird:I hear you ....It was all about safety that prompted me to add thestep. You'll notice the foot platform is not smooth, but really letsthe sole of your boot engage the two ridges. I also don't haveto turn 180 degrees to dismount the tractor, just simply walk offnaturally. I was carfull to file all burrs & sharp edges to preventshin damage if I should slip, but it has'nt happened in snow,mudor rain of the two years I've used it. .....RayBee
