- Iseki TS35F, Goldoni Special 140 with powered trailer -- Goldoni Special 128 -- Goldoni Uno for mowing -- Czech Vari system
I got an Iseki TS35F -- like a TS3510F -- last month -- japanese import-- where the importer in Poland had added on their own, in house made, FEL. The power steering on the tractor seems to me a bit weak/dodgy, so in the post I made about the TS35F in the Iseki forum, I inquired if the FEL was plumbed in the right way, and got the response that basically not.
The hydraulic flow is taken right from the pump, passed in to the FEL valve block, and then continues out of it to a divider valve (I think that's the right term) that sends some to the power steering and some to the 3pt lift. As far as I can tell, the valve block doesn't have a Power-beyond port, and instead the output to the rest of the system is flowing from the Tank port.
I understand this isn't how its supposed to be done, but I don't really understand why. My gut feeling is that somehow flow is restricted this way, and that's why the power steering seems weak-- e.g., if the tractor is not moving, it doesn't seem to be assisting in turning the wheels.
So also I wonder if I should be tapping in to the hydraulic system at a different point, or leave the point its tapped in to the same and get valves with power beyond, or what?
