Added a Chevy Diesel to my Fleet today

Me too it has the standard 5 yr 100,000 powertrain warranty. I purchased the 6 yr 100,000 bumper to bumper warranty

Drove to upstate new york north of watertown and back. maintained 69 mph through canada when possible got slowed down through Toronto and traffic.
The car always reports 0.1 - 0.2 gallons more fuel used than actual. So calculated average was 49.2 mpg and 893.5 mile range on 18.08 gallons of diesel. Best 50 mile average was 55.6 mpg. Pretty good for a new diesel with def and automatic trans.

So far I'm loving the car.
Previous round trip up to boyne got 47 mpg at a considerably faster pace

Congrats, I like the color.

The MPG read out is probably more accurate than hand calculating. It is hard to get them filled the same amount every time.

Thanks roger normally I would agree with you but ive never had a tank were the fuel used acording to the DIC was less than what I actually put in. Since this is a diesel I can also verify that the tank is topped off to the same level as its all the way to the top of the neck. I have 5 tanks of fuel in the 15 - 18 gallon range in every single tank showed 0.1 - 0.2 gallons more than I put in according to the fuel pumps. Only 2 fills were from the same station and pump. I have co worker's who have vehicles that have DICs that consistently read 1-1.5 mpg higher than calculated.

I agree. I've inly had 2 miracle vehicles where the info center was correct, or at least within a .1mpg. This VW is one and my 07.5 duramax. Both diesels, go figure. Same thing here. I can top them off and verify
