amazon and ebay have all kinds of cheap LEDs for work lights .

So I took it one step further and improved the headlights by replacing the stock 1157 lamps with LED units from Amazon. The light output and color is fantastic and a perfect safety upgrade for when driving to the fuel station. The LED lamps were $30. Low beam is as good as high beam on the stock lamps. High beam looks like a modern car's low beam in terms of light output. I'm impressed with this inexpensive upgrade.

Comparing Winston's posting of the bulbs being the same for many of the YM series, more than likely these LEDs should work really well.
