SPAL does list these motors as permanent magnet motors. And as such they should be reversible. After receiving the motor and seeing that they clearly labeled the connector with a large "+" label, I started thinking of reasons that this may not be a good idea. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Primary reason I thought off was that the bearing structure maybe designed to work best with the pressure applied on only one side. Other thoughts that occurred were that the blades would be cut and shaped to provide maximum "lift" in one direction. Needless to say I decided to go with the flow. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
