I have read and re-read this thread. I can see things a bit more clearer as it begins to sink in. Some of the mystery (smoke) is clearing...
Haven't heard from the dealer yet on the price for the extra remotes.
It sure does seem logical to me that I could use the existing rear remotes and the detent lever just making sure I return it to the neutral position. On the dk45se its not hard to overlook as it makes a stalling kind of sound as if its in the on position. I never really noticed if this lever has three positions or not. Down, neutral and up. If this is the case it ought to work as it is.
I am thinking about calling Kioti myself and ask them. I really don't wan't to spend the $$$ for anything extra if I don't have to.

I looked at the valve listed by JJ early in the thread that connects directly to the fel and allows you to use either the tilt or grab on the hydraulics. Then I add the joystick that allows you to electrically change between the two sides. $221 + 150, then the lines (estimated at say $200) and It easily eats up $600 with shipping costs and etceteras. I can save about $175 from what the everything attachments site lists.
I can't say I am thrilled with the switch wires being run outside and then zip tied to the shaft. Looks kinda cheesy to me. Works but for the $$$ you's think it would run down the center of the shaft to then an exit point that can be connected to the valve.
Of course I had to check and see what other joy sticks are available. Lots of styles but then I run into not sure wha the other end looks like that engages the hydraulic control valve on the tractor.
