Adding a Gun Mount

Wow, you must be a good shot, I can't hit a barn with those little 9's although I do own an LC9. I carry my Beretta 92 in a shoulder holster and the fact that it hooks to my belt,, it also helps keep my pants up.

Well, I agree that it's not a long distance varmint killer. But, it has worked for me on skunks (stay upwind), rattlesnakes (shoot into dirt, rocks ricochet), porcupines, wild turkey, slaughter animals, and paper targets (never had one walk away yet). The point is that it is there when I need it.

If you have a spot for a .38 in a pouch, I'd suggest a S&W model 27, .357mag or model 29, .44mag of the 8 and 3/8 inch barrel variety in a holster hanging in the same spot; doesn't take up much more room and either is a lot more weapon with a reasonable effective range

I have several compact 9MM. And yes making accurate shots with them at a distance is usually more difficult than a full size pistol. But it can be done. I am not going to openly brag here about shots I have made with compact pistols and revolvers, but I am willing to bet you would be surprised at what a well motivated marksman can do with them.

You've quite an arsenal there; my point is if I'm carrying a weapon on the tractor to use on pests/vermin or other critters, I'm staying on the tractor should I come in contact and want something with a reasonable effective range. I've tried my SO's Lady Smith, .38+p and couldn't hit the side of the barn
