I have a snow plow that i use to use on my skidsteer, a cobbled together 7 foot fisher on a universal skid mount.
I want to use it on my tractor this year but I do not have a third function on my loader to adjust the blade.
The loader has a nimbco valve with power beyond that goes to a hose leading the rear fo the tractor that either work the the back hoe or
rear lift. Can I just add another two way valve with power beyond at the power beyond port of the loader.
I am trying to do it fast and cheap, I only need the third function for blade angle adjust. Any suggestions on componants
or another way to do it, using tilt fucntion of the loader is not good since I have and gravel and hilly drive so I need to retain that function.

I bought, but never used from Northern a selector valve to chose a extend a hoe or thumb. I figured out I wanted both together. It would serve your need. If adding a plow, will you remove the loader or lift it out of the way? I caution you against attaching it directly to loader frame. Pivoting at about 5 feet above the ground, I had invented a pole vault for a tractor. The tractor was constantly trying to climb over the plow.

Instead I have used two reciever tubes pointing down. A fork ball mount from Tractor supply fits into each. The plow pivots low able to hop over obstacles. In summer it easily comes off making it easy to regain ground clearance.

This valve has PB and you just connect in series with the FEL valve.

1 SPOOL 8 GPM PRINCE MB11B5C1 DA VALVE

I'm facing the same job -- need power angle for a plow blade which replaces the loader bucket on my FEL for my Kubota B2400. I bought a single spool 4-way valve which has 2 tank ports with a common passage. A power beyond plug is inserted in one of them. I was going to do exactly as you said -- just connect it in series between the PB port of the FEL valve and my 3pt hydraulics line, with the PB port on the new valve servicing the 3pt hydraulics. But then I wondered -- do I need to run a tank line from the other tank port this new valve? I could simply tee into the existing tank line from my FEL. Or can I just plug the seconed tank port in the new valve and not worry about it? Thought that I had it figured out, but it's these little details that confuse! THANKS.

All tank ports need to go to tank, as that is the used fluid from the cyl.

You can tee into an existing hose.

Use the PB to pass fluid to the next valve.

Got it! Thanks very much.

:)Do you happen to have any pictures of those setups? I think I have it right in my minds eye but I'd like to see what you actually tried and ended up with.

That tractor is now several towns away, maybe. It is a John Deere 1050? A thirty something (39?) HP The sub frame for the loader was configured such that I was able to take two heavy duty 2" receiver tubes, weld them in place vertical at the correct spacing. I also bought at Tractor Supply a ball mount like the tongue on a hay wagon. This fits at correct spacing for an older Fisher pin angle blade to offer up and pin in place.

My friend doesn't use power angle.

The valve I mentioned does not have power beyond, It is simply a selector. It has 6 ports, 2 receive the hoses presently going to your bucket curl cylinder s. Two will supply your bucket curl cylinders, one left snowplow, one right snowplow. The two angle cylinders having only one port will serve the purpose of the double action one cylinder on loader.

If you want to forgo the valve, quick couplers in the lines you probably now have could be used to switch hoses to angle cylinders. I'm guessing the loader frame will hoist the plow with a chain?

Which end of VT are you in?
