See thats the problem right there with mine, it was not backing down when you would let it idle. Also it never ran hot like this before. I Actually removed the T-stat and have had no issues since. it runs with the needle at about 11:00 position and when worked hard goes up to about 1 then when you back down it cools right back off. i just dont understand what has changed in the motor to make it work this way now only with out a t-stat in it. I just picked up an international 574 that i am using for all the heavy stuff now. The Kubota is just raking a little hay and running the back hoe and loader.
