yeah, i was more than a little disappointed in mine too......i wasn't expecting big power like a real hoe but i was expecting two motions at once......
i have gotten better at it and it makes me look even better on a real hoe......besides, after i get my looooong utilities trenched, the rest can be done with my hoe, even if it's a bit slow or tedious....
mine came with my tractor when i bought it used......he wanted about the price everyone else did without the hoe......so i consider mine free.....or at least that's what i keep telling myself so that i can sleep better!

Well I talked to the engineers at Bradco / Paladin equipment the other day. After a few different calls back and forth they basically told me that I have been spoiled with my excavator. They stated that the functions will act the same weather it is running at 1500 RPM or 2500 RPM. Although the BH is rated for 8-12 GPM they stated it will perform all the functions the same no matter what GPM your running. So if I am running 9 gpm or 12 gpm the actions will be the same. The GPM will affect the force that the BH is producing not the smoothness of the controls. Basically they said I need to feather the controls more. So with that said who wants to buy a brand new Bradco BH. HAHA. I guess it will be fine for small projects but for the more serious big boy projects I will have to get the big boy hoe out.
