Most of us are in the same boat. We are paying for our bullet proof attitudes from when we were younger.
We use the 2 gallon plastic gas cans painted yellow for our diesel. Though you can get smaller diesel cans, I'm just too cheap when I have a pile of cans around. On the ones that don't have the vent, I install them. You can buy them cheap on Ebay . In through the MR Funnel it goes.
