Guys,

I bring my 4720 (cab) to fairgrounds and use it for trash duty (I made a 6' x 4' x 2" box that I fashioned from a 40 x 48 pallet-slip forks on and box clamps to factory fork uprights with two "U" bolts I fashioned out of rod-works great-guys collect trash with bed equipped golf carts and bring it to central points where I pick it up to take to 30yd. roll offs). People are oblivious to tractor so usually hot wire a switch to battery and connect to back up alarm. I would like to make a more permanent installation.

electrical isn't my bag-any suggestions on a permanent set up? Fuse block has blanks but I assume there is nothing feeding these blanks?
appreciate any comments

Somebody added a b/u alarm to my 4300 at some point, all they used was a momentary snap switch mounted under the floor pan so when you hit the reverse hydro pedal it tripped it.

Deere actually makes a back-up alarm kit to fit your tractor. It fits all the 4x20 series and the 3R series. BLV10648 for about $132.00. According to the instructions there is a wire already in the harness to plug into.

Thx- Actually what I'm trying to do is just correctly wire a "back up alarm" into a switch controlled circuit so that I can turn it on as needed-regardless of direction-you get a crowd around you and machine noise means nothing to them!

Then all you need is the alarm, a switch and some wire.. grab a wire from the ignition switch that is 12v when key is on.. and you should be good to go.
