After lurking for a long time I finally have a question that the search function cannot answer. With winter approaching, I need to add hydraulic remotes to my 1997 Kubota B2400 HST to lift and turn a snowplow. I cannot find any information on how to do this.

The most important thing for me is if someone could post up a picture of where the pressure port and return ports that can be used are located.

Second, if there is a required block or part could you let me know what that is?

I work 1/3 of the year as a farm mechanic so I am very comfortable working with hydraulics.

Here is a pic of the loader port on my B2400. The tractor is currectly split for hydrstatic pump repair and the hydraulic line is loose right now.

Thanks for the pic. Where do your return lines go to?

ETA: Any chance you could take a shot of the back side of that hydraulic block the fittings are screwed into with it unbolted? It would help since it looks like I could make that block in my machine shop in no time. Thanks

It comes right off the engine, to the built-in port, then to the 3 pt lift valve. My tractor came with a loader, and those are loader ports. I dont know if this line, with the port access built-in, is a stock part on all B2400s. I would guess they do.

I have the line with the round part where your steel block with the fittings attaches to, that runs back to the 3-point. My access port is covered with a plate. I was wondering if you could snap a picture of the opposite side of that square fitting block with it removed so I could see how the back side is machined. Also, where do the return lines for your FEL go to?

Thanks for the help!

The line is open loop,so one port feeds the loader controls and then returns to the other port. I tried to loosen the bolts on the block this morning but the line isnt fastened down at this point and almost bend the line. The part is available at Goldeneagleonline.com for $25.20, part # 75536-68113. Probally not worth making one.

I just added rear remotes to my L 3000 and it was very simple. It just required making 3 lines and a hyd valve. The rear line than hooked to the back of the loader control now goes in to the new control and comes out of the control back to the loader control. The other 2 lines go to the remotes. Works like a champ. I can get some pics posted of it if that will help you out.

Im guessing this remote is for running hydraulics to a front mounted snow blade, and not for rear hydraulic remotes?

i added the hydraulic block on my b2410 last year -- it's a dealer-kit that was worth it, with mounting brackets and the like --

-- PM me if you have questions -- was pretty much a swap-out though --
