Adding Photos

This probably isn't the correct forum for this but here goes anyway.What is up with adding photos to a thread or post.I get the "manage attachments" part but when I add the photos,they seem to pop up wherever they want in the text.If I go to the "insert line ?" part it doesn't give me the ability to change it.What am I missing?

I'll give this a shot that may help if the experts do not respond.

There are two ways to attach photos. The easiest, at least for me, is to click on the icon that looks like a photo print (well, sort of) at the top of the reply box. You then follow the instructions and the attachment (e.g., jpeg file) will be inserted at the location of your cursor.

If an attachment doesn't show up where you want, you can cut it and then paste it at the desired location.

Admittedly not the clearest of instructions, but they may help put you on the right track.

If it is any consolation, I can change the oil in the tractor quicker than adding a photo. (I) Guess you'd called that "computer challenged"

Easiest way for me is to have them uploaded elsewhere on the web, such as face book, or a web photo hosting site such as photobucket. Then mouse over the image and right click, highlight properties, then highlight the address and copy it {typically the address will end in .JPG.}
Then open your new "reply to thread here at TBN, and paste it between the following HTML.
yourcopiedaddressgoeshere[/IMG ] I intentionally left a space at the end between the "G" and the "]". Otherwise you would never see the formula, your entry will have NO spaces anywhere in the formula..

I know it sounds like a lot, but after a few, you'll be able to post an image on any forum..
