Hey does anyone know or ever added hydraulic ports to a Massey 1120? It has hydro drive and three point in rear but can't see anywhere to add front hydraulics.
Thanks!

Do you have an external pump?

If so, show pic and plumbing.

yes tractor has onboard pump driven off motor lines run to rear. the pump is hard to see behind cover. the smaller line is the hi psi one and one of the bigger lines go to a cooler out in front then back on other side

Hydraulics:
Type: open center
Pump flow: 3.5 gpm [13.2 lpm]

You don't have a lot of flow, but what all is in the flow path now from pump to 3pt.

Nothing, it goes directly to the 3 point control valve. So how much flow is needed for a FEL? would I be better off coming off the rear pto with another pump? then woould I need another reservoir? lots of scenarios to ponder!

What do you want to install?

If it is a loader, then you send the pump fluid to the loader valve IN port and send the loader valve PB outlet to the 3pt, and the loader tank port goes to any return line.

Do you want remote valves at the rear?

Sure doesn't look like you have much room to made and add a hyd block. Have you got your loader yet.

I want to install a front end loader but it looks kind of tricky. I have seen pics of these tractors with loaders but not close enough to see how they did it. I know companies make loaders for it but don't know if they help with the hydraulics.

If you can do the loader part , we can help figuring out the hyd.

A loader will work off what you have, but will work faster with more flow.

He doesn't need a hyd block. A hose would run to the loader valve and another hose would come from the PB port to the 3pt in port and another hose would go to the tank, and that is it.

If he chose to add remote valves, the PB hose would go the the IN port of the remote valve.

The 3.5 GPM also has to drive the hydrostat. So would taking some flow away cause any issues?
