Adding rear hydraulics to JD2020

Hi. I am new to forum and quite new to tractors! I have a 1970 JD2020 and have just bought a rear hydraulic earth scoop. It comes complete with a spool valve and pipes, but I have no idea how to connect this to the tractor (there does not appear to be an existing connection.) Can anyone help with an idiot's guide please?

Remote valve for a JD 2020 must be a closed center type or have the capability of accepting a closed center plug(1st photo). One can attach a spool valve by attaching to rear of pressure control valve by removing plug(parts key 17) on lower RH side of tractor(if tractor has power steering). Hyd return oil from control valve should be routed to ported hyd filter cover(parts key 22) but for limited use can be returned to trans case. L55982 Cover - COVER ADD 61.18 USD

What is a rear hydraulic earth scoop? A backhoe ?

It is a dirt scoop with hyd tripping action instead of pull rope.

Thanks to Tx Jim for quick response. I think I understand. I have taken some photos from the tractor to confirm. I think flow from tractor to spool valve comes from top connection and return to bottom connection in the first and second photo. I also think your reference to limited use return to transmission case relates to the thirdphoto, which is located beneath the set on RHS. Have I got that right??

You're good to go top fitting will provide pressure & bottom fitting is for return. You should remove & install correct plug(parts key 16) or plug that open fitting on the side of RS housing in your other photo
