Adding Remote Hydraulic Cylinders to TC40D

/ Adding Remote Hydraulic Cylinders to TC40D #11
Two hours is a generous estimate for someone who has not done this particular chore before, and may not be the most efficient mechanic. The D models have more cowling around the operator's station, particularly the inside cover to the right hand'control pod' which must be removed. Removing the rear wheel is the easiest, most efficient route to remove the panel and complete the installation. Specific installation instructions come with the kit. The repair manual will not include installation of the remote valve(s) per se, but will reference repairs to it (them).

Long time no see. Glad to hear nothing but good from the TC40.

I was just told when looking at a TC35D, he'd throw in two valves for $400. This may be in my hands. You can do it!!! My own thoughts are it's like having a truck without a trailer hitch. Most of the work is in the rear. Great resale item if all else fails. This post reminded me of a few times on a competitors lot and a quote of $600 per valve installed. I never did go back to him. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Check a few threads on general Hydraulics and "Don't" get teflon in the lines. Clean, clean and keep clean. Pumps are costly.
