Branson 2910i
I have a couple questions in adding remotes to the Branson 3510i. I understand that you tap into the circuit on the rear of the tractor for the remotes. Does anyone know for sure what the fittings are? I read here that they are 20mm x 1.5. Last night at the hydraulics place where I get all my stuff they had 18mm and 22mm, but no 20mm and said there is no such thing?? This place stocks everything you can think of hydraulic and I wanted the fitting to JIC 90 deg. I was there grabbing other parts and grabbed the 22mm and will try it when I get a chance just in case. Also, I grabbed a 2 way open center set of valves with detent on one spool. I will hook them up with a set of quick connect fittings on each spool. Where do most people have their quick connect fittings? I will probably plumb them up to be in the rear, but was thinking of just having the quick connects on 90's right on the valve.

Cheers,

Dale

It is 20mm x 1.5 pitch, and you can get it to adapt to JIC as you wish. It isn't any harder to get than an 18mm or 22mm, so I am surprised they said that. Most likely, they just do not stock it.

Here are pics of my 3510 remote connections.
I have a Jinma Hoe that I adapted to fit my tractor.
I put a relief valve in the circuit (the silver thingie, from Surplus Center, adjustable) to make sure I did not dead head my pump.
When not connected to the Hoe I keep the hoses plugged into each other.

Thanks for the replies. I have looked online, and just can't seem to find the correct fittings? I found a post from a while back saying this
"Discount Hydraulic Hose has the fittings you need.
Male M20 x 1.5 to Male JIC.
Metric side includes washer and O-Ring
Item 9065S-06-S12-20 has #6 (3/8") JIC Male
Item 9065S-08-S12-20 has #8 (1/2") JIC Male
Item 9065S-10-S12-20 Has #10 (5/8") JIC Male"

But haven't even been able to find them on their site??

So, would the process be the same for a Branson 4520R? I'm looking at buying that tractor and if I do I want to add a set of remotes for T-N-T. Thanks, B.

I found the parts at Discount Hose i was looking for.
The part that you want is 9606-08-S12-20 -- 1/2" JIC x M20x1.5 Metric (12 mm tube)
Hydraulic Fittings - 9606 | JIC 37° Male x Metric Dual Purpose (Heavy)

I am going to fit these adapters on the rear of the tractor. Get 2 hoses made to go to the open center spool valve, and add quick quick connects on the spool valve so that I can use them to control the snowblower chute, woodsplitter (one valve will have detent), and whatever else I want. Total project should be around $400

Got it thanks. Would I be tapping into the same spot on the 4520R as your tractor? Anyone know? The 4520R runs an open live center hydraulic system right? B.
