Hello,

Can anyone tell me if my B2630 has any pre-wired circuits that I could use to power a single HID work light (3.8 Amps) on the ROPS?

If there is, is it switched w/ the key or is it always hot?

There is a wire under the right fender that is powered when the key is on. I think it is a red wire. You will also need a switch in the line to shut the light off. Good luck.

I'll take a look for it. Is there some sort of connector on it that would help me recognize it?

Also, do you know of any sealed, weatherproof switches, that I could use?

While looking for a place to mount a switch like this, I am reminded of a question that I had been meaning to ask. On the right hand console, where the 3pt position and cruise control are, there is an empty, rectangular, cutout that I always assumed was for some option that didn't come on this tractor (see attached picture).

Now that I found the auxilliary power connection (thanks, Toolguy), I am wondering if some sort of switch panel gets put in there if you get the kubota factory light or something.

Does anyone know what goes there?

The Kubota utility light has a switch on it, and bolts into a hole with a welded nut, located at the back of the toolbox. There is a small orange sticker covering the hole.

The rectangular cover you are referring to is for the optional rear remote hydraulic valve levers.

That makes sense. Thanks.

Is there supposed to be a cover over the hole? If so, the previous owner must have lost it. I am wondering if I could buy the cover and cut a hole in it for a switch. Might be easier to work on the cover than the entire housing.

Probably not a part that Kubota gets a lot of replacement requests for though...

If not, I think I can locate the switch just to the right and be fine, it's just that hole is begging for something to be put in it.

Yeah, there's supposed to be a cover.

If you are going to cut something up, you may as well cut up the cover.

Just don't put the switch in there if you think there's a chance you may add the remotes later, or you'll be moving the switch at that time.

I'm sure you can order a replacement cover. May also be a handful of them laying around in fellow B3030 or B2630 TBN owner's garages that added the rear remotes.

I was thinking the same thing. Are there any B2630/B3030 owners out there who have added the rear remotes (and that no longer need the cover that was there before)?

If not, can anybody see if there's a part number on the cover?

From page 134, reference 01M209 in the B3030 Parts Manual showing the Right Hand Lever Guide, the reference number is 060, part number is 6C200-52130, description is Cover Controller.

Part number is all you should need to order it, but the rest is for if your dealer is having a hard time tracking it down, you can point them in the right direction.
