kubota B7800
I, with the help of Brian at Fit Rite Hydraulics - fitritehydraulics.com, am in the process of installing top and tilt on a Kubota b7800. If I can do this anyone can! After installing a suspension seat from Northern tool (100.00, great buy, recommend) I gained some room to allow me to mount the remotes between the seat and fender on the right side of the tractor. I made a mount for the remotes that bolts to the inside of the fender. Mount is shown in the first 2 pics. I then installed the remotes on the mounting plate, installed the 2 rams (top and tilt), measured for the hoses, sent that info to Brian and he ordered the custom measured hoses and a couple of fittings, as soon as the hoses arrive I will install them and be up and running.
I chose not to put quick connections on because I will never remove the rams I do not have any thing that I would have to take them off for and will not be getting anything that would require me to take them off. Also there are fewer connections to potentially leak.
I also chose to only put two valves instead of three as I do not need the third valve, since the valves that Brian uses are stack valves I can always add the third or forth in the future and not have to replace what I have already purchased if the need should ever arrive...
Brian has been a great help and is always available to answer questions (he actually answers the phone) and includes all fittings and hoses, not like dealing with a major corporation.. He works by himself out of a shop at the back of his house (I have been there). He does quality work, take a look at the last three pictures, the rams come to him with no ends and he custom makes each end, I hope the pictures show the quality of his work. I asked him if he needed any help as I could be his label putter oner....
I am not a welder so no comments on my welds please and no laughing... I will post more pictures after the hoses are installed. Also the joy stick is on order and when it comes in I will install it and post pictures of the completed project .

That is correct, Bucher makes a joy stick that replaces the 2 levers, so I thought I would try it, If I don't like it I can go back to the two levers...

Is the joystick valve a loader valve?

Do you have float on the two spools?

I am not sure about a loader valve but it does have float on both spools also self centering..

I hear you on the no QDs, fitting those in on my build has made a cramped situation worse. I need the flexibility though, for a post hole digger at least.

I'm assuming he's using g the same stack valve I got from the same source. A stack valve is an input block & output block. You get single valves that you stack/bolt between them. The joystick is just 2 valves together with a joystick instead of individual levers. Minimal leakdown on mine, seems to be good quality.

I sure it is the same valves and joy stick as yours, Did you find Brian as easy to work with and helpful as I have? I live in California and it is hard to find that kind of service around here.

I'm happy with everything involved in my build (documented at http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/hydraulics/295816-kubota-l3200-tnt-3rd-function.html) except for the cramped knot of hoses I created at the very back. I've got it mostly sorted out & pretty usable now though. I have a couple plans to get it sorted out a little cleaner, but cold weather is putting a serious hurt on my motivation at the moment.

I looked at your last photos and have a suggestion, If you put a hose sock on the tilt hoses and zip tie them it would clean those 2 up, Then run a little long hose out of the front fitting on the top ram so you can join the two hoses together and hose sock them as well. This would also help protect them from rubbing and the elements. When I get my hoses installed, take a look at the picture I will post, it may give you an idea of what I am talking about

When you ask about a loader valve, are you wondering if it has regen? No it does not. And as far as I know of, loader valves are typically mono block valves, not stacking valves. Both spools have the float function as does 2 of the 3 in the set that Fallon has. By the way, the joystick is custom made to work with both valves having the float function. That is not a std item.
