I am about to hook up some lights to my ROPS on my L5030. I have noted the green molex plug near the seat belt and see that it conveniently has 12V coming to it when the ignition is on. Question: can that little wire pair (looks like 16 or 18 gauge) handle four 55w lights? Any idea on where to get the mate to that plug or do most guys just get two male spade connectors and go from there?

If you are going to use all four lights at once they will draw a little over 18 amps. Max rating for 16ga wire is 20-22 amps (depending on what chart you use). I'd use a 20 amp fused 14 ga wire going from the battery through a relay and then to the lights. Use the wire you found near the seat to energize the relay.
