adjusting 3pt to lift higher

No, I wasn't thinking of "pirated" manuals. There are other non-factory manuals available...Tractor Supply sells 'em (or used to). These would be similar to a Chilton manual, but not near as comprehensive. The name ITC seems to ring a bell (as a publisher).
I'm just suggesting that you stick with the factory authorized manuals.
Ah! I did not know that. I have never seen an aftermarket sub/compact manual from Chilton's or the like. And I completely agree with your advice Roy.... in fact it is exactly what I was trying to say without knowing what you already knew.

The link I posted includes TM1677 just as from Deere.

defed, you sound plenty mechanically inclined to me...

here is a picture of the locking tabs that connect the lift link to the lower arm. there is alot of space above, so not sure if this is reversible so that the lower arms sit 1" higher.

i have the top link in the center postion.

looking at the tractor from a distance, it doesn't look too bad height wise, but it's only 16" off the ground.

If you use the top hole for the tractor side of the top link, the implement will raise higher.

Someone explain this to me.... the lift height is determined by the lower arms, the ones that actually raise and lower hydraulically. No? The top arm only determines the "level" position of the implement, right?
