I have justed received a slip clutch from Agri-Supply. The Agri-Supply part number is 31951 ( 1356104 slip clutch ). I am getting my tiller ready. The tiller is a Yanmar model RS1303 tiller. My question is, can I assume that the slip clutch is ready to go ? Do I need to make any adjustments to the clutch ?

Thank you for any help,

Alan0043,

You will most likely want to slip and adjust it to the tiller. We loosen and slip the clutch to clean the plates and then readjust each season. Once you get it in the ballpark you can measure the springs to get close after cleaning.

More maintance than shear pins up front but less down time during use.

Later days,
Michael
