I recently got a B2910 with HST and what Kubota calls "cruise control". It's a hand lever that's supposed to lock the forward HST pedal so you can remove your foot, but it doesn't lock --it returns to stop position immediately. Anybody know what I can do to make it work? Thank you!

Are there any grease zerk fittings for the pedals or control?

Make sure you are using the correct one, cause one is the cruise and the other is the parking brake, you knew that right?

I believe the cruise control is the one on the left. I have found you need to set it a bit higher in ground speed to achieve the speed you actually want. I use this when tilling.

I have found all the zerks listed in the manual, but I will look--maybe there is one they missed- thanks

Actually, on this tractor the parking brake lock is below the steering wheel, but the cruise lever is a long lever coming up from the floor deck. I can use it as a hand operated hst control, but it won't lock the way the manual says it should...

The cruise lever uses an adjustable clutch type disc to hold it in place. That needs tightened. I think you can see it from the bottom. There will be a locknut or a castle nut with cotter pin on the bolt that the lever swivels on. Tighten this nut a half turn and try it. Repeat until it stays where you leave it.

The worst part about that cruise lever is that you will get against it when moving around in the seat. You'll knock it out of it's neutral position which prevents you from backing up with the HST pedal. If you ever experience that, can't get the HST pedal to go into reverse, check the location of the cruise lever. Took me a while to get used to that.

The B2910 is arguably the best 30hp range tractor that Kubota has ever built. It's got features the "famed" B3030 doesn't have. Such as, true mechanical steering so the spinner knob is always in the same position when driving straight. A clutch pedal to disengage the PTO when using a Post Hole Digger or when trying to start a heavy PTO load. A far superior suspension seat.

Loved my B2910. Good luck with yours.
