Advice for replacing chain with belts

Hello.
I have a two wheel japanese tractor 8HP. There is a chain 10B between the gearbox and the tiller. I cannot find the oil seals for the chain box and I also want to attach different things, not just the tiller. So I decided that I should replace the chain with belts. But I do not know what kind of belts. Can someone help me?
So far someone told me that it should be toothed belt, so that it would not slip. Another person told me that two normal belts might work, I think you call them V belts. The same V belts are used for the connection between the engine and the gearbox. I have no idea what kind of toothed belt would be sufficient. I saw T type belts online, maybe T10 25mm? Or two V belts would be enough? I am attaching some photos of the machine.
I also saw that there is attachment in Japan for digging potatoes. It is connected with single V belt. But of course the load would be less than the tiller.

Nobody makes their own seals or bearings. If you can take them out to bearing shop or measure to get replacements. Worn bearings can make seals leak. Corn head 00 grease slows gearbox seal leakage.

Changing drive from chain to belt an expensive option. How to tension? Too many variables not described like size and interference to offer any solutions.

Keep it simple usually works best.

Sorry, but I did not mention any bearings? There aren't any bearings in any of this anywhere. Maybe I did not explain well. I will attach more photos.

The case that contains the chain has two seals. They leak. I cannot find them anywhere and no one can make them locally. Additionally, the case inside is worn from the chain, and I have replaced the chain, but it was not the problem. So all of this is reason 1 for wanting to replace the chain with belt.
Reason 2 is that I want to remove the tiller and attach other things like mower. Adapting other attachments to belts would be much easier than to the chain.

I am attaching photos of the disassembled case of the chain, also of the japanese potato digger I saw that is connected with single belt. I want to do something like that, but was thinking of 2 belts or 1 toothed belt. Tensioning is the simple part. The complicated part is what kind of belt would be sufficient.

Yes, the chain system on the two wheel tractor is much like the Yanmar rotary tillers mounted to the back of tractors.

Your Yanmar YS80 has a slew of Ag attachments.

The mower is a front attachment.
And if you get the seat option with the wheeled axle on the back, it would work like a riding mower too.

In Canada, there is a company who makes log splitters for these 2-wheel Japan made tractors.
The engine is omitted and the belt from the tractor mounts to it.

I think the company is Jansen and this is the 20-tonne unit.

Yes, this works really well for potatoes.

Even though I have a Yanmar compact tractor, I would replace my Poluan Pro walk-behind tiller in a heart beat if I could get a Yanmar 2-wheel tractor. You have one of the better models too.

The YS860 and YS950 are the improved models over your model.

So seeing some of the translated words being odd, think like they would see an image or behavior in their head and that is the function of the part. Also they rely on phonics. So sound out the odd word slowly and then faster and faster until it clicks in your head what they might mean.
