Advice please! 1986 Allis Chalmers 5015

I wanted to ask your opinion on how hard was it to replace the head gasket on the 5015? I bought one from a guy and recently had the radiator re-cored, and installed a new water pump only to find out the Head gasket was blown. Found out while trying to burp/relive all the air from the new hoses and coolant system... Kept sucking air in and bubbling more and more... which lead me to see where it was coming from...

I have ordered the upper gasket kit from Southern Global Tractors along with a oil pan gasket (small seeping leak). I have never worked on tractor like this and wanted to see what you thought on the difficulty.

Trying to decide to do it myself or look for someone that knows small diesels and/or heavy equipment to do it and go thru it.

Also any other things anyone would recommend to service on top of what I have done...
This is what I have done so far;
-- New Glow Plugs
-- New Oil & Filter, & Air Filter.

Have not installed the new Gear oil and Filter yet...

Update - Going to pull the head, send for magnaflux and see what happens.

Well I haven’t seen it but roll up your sleeves. I never seen an easy head to pull.

IMHO
I would get the manual for it and read through the process. Always good to work on a project.

Copy - I have all manuals, head was removed and magnafluxed, "now" getting a valve job. Head gasket was luckily only leaking out of the right side of the motor directly and sucking air along with slightly leaking fluid into the rear cylinder. No radiator fluid went into the oil.
