Aerosol Spray Paint Can Revival - Any Helpful Tips or Tricks ?

You can buy them off Amazon but most hardware stores that sell the can spray paint has extra nozzles you can buy.

I have a bag of them and once I empty a can if the nozzle is good I will put it on top of a can of WD-40 and spray until clean then put the nozzle in a bag and save. Just sometimes I can't remember where I put the bag

When done, I turn upside down and then spray until clear. Then I wipe the tip clean and that seems to be the key. I haven't had a plugged spray tip in several years.

I used to do that myself, but now it seems there are some spray cans that are made to spray upside down so that trick doesn't always work.

I never knew they sold replacements...I'll have to check it out.

As far as freezing goes, I leave my spray cans in the garage and haven't had a problem with them not working the next year...not uncommon to see -25 to 30 here in the winter.

I leave mine in an unheated garage. We've had many -10 morns this past winter. My cans still work years later after using the invert and clear method. I buy mostly Rustoleum.
