This is a little off topic but this thread reminded me of something I have been watching. For you guys in the South East, there is a hillside mower for sale on http://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/aucitsrh/ . It is in dubious shape but apparently does run. I looked this mower up (kut Kwick Roadmaster ) 80 HP cummins 31 degree slope capability and 24 mph road gear. Looks like it might go for under $500. I would be bidding but just don't have the time to pick it up if won. Thought I would pass it on.

Must be a Darwin Award winner; why would he be standing at the bottom of the hill?

You would think that the mower would have an emergency shut off if it did roll over - or even approached its roll over point. It would take very little engineering to stop the blades if that happened.
