My open station is my old (1974) IH 574 65 hp which is normally relegated to generator duty.

Just went through some of what youa re saying recently regarding Cab or not. I finallky decided and got the cab. It is nice. Still adjusting to it because I never had one and used to being open but the ac is great!!! Did I say the ac is great!!!

Also, it might take me a few more seconds longer to attach and unattach attachments. Not a big deal. Just open the door, step down and do your thing.

On the Massey 4707, there are buttons on both fenders to raise and lower the lift arms. You can also take them apart to fit what you are attaching instead of having to move the tractor around, or hope you can get it there by turning something threaded. It's by far the easiest tractor that I've ever had for connecting implements to.

EddieWalker, i bought a 4707 last week, open station. It has rear wheel weights and I might order some front suitcase weights. Do you use weight, any thoughts on whether they are needed? I'm Heading out to mow pasture today. Gotta say I'm pretty excited to use the new machine. I've not yet figured out how to operate the fender buttons to raise/lower the arms. Is there a child proof sequence needed to get it to work? I have scoured the user manual but did not find an answer.

I added 1,600 pound rear ballast to mine so I could move dirt with the loader. It was too tippy without it. Now it’s rock solid

To lift the arms you have to push the up button, then the down button, and when hold the up button. Where your draft control is set makes a difference. I keep mine in the middle to lower it, you push down, then up, then hold it down
