How can one reverse wires the wires coming from coils but keep valve and fire timing in sync ?
Switching wires from module to coil is straight forward but won't coil pulsars wires feeding module have to be switched also?
In effect by switching the working channel module is bring used,if left side is bad?
The work I did was replacing water pump last year and cam gear this year and it's basically the same tear down, remove crankcase cover, and only battery and ground on the crankcase connections are taken loose.
So I can't see any work done causing problem to ignition.

To keep it simple I pulled spark plugs, switched wires at plug in module going to coil, and checked fire at plugs so I didn't have to worry about timing and backfiring.
The left side fired and the tight side didn't so it's indeed the black box or ignition module.
Now to find one or maybe I'll get lucky and it's just a zener diode that blew or cracked from vibration.
The black box needs to be mounted or wrapped in foam rubber to protect it from vibration.
I've already seen three cracked resistors on board in black box.

On Kawasaki's JD recommends replacing coils as a pair. I have had in our shop (dealership) Kawai twins that when you replace the "bad" coil - the "good" coil acts up - replacing both solved the issue for us.

I don't think any of the coils are faulty, but Ill make a note that both coils must be replaced if one coil fails.
I switched wires, going to coils, coming from black box and the coil, spark plug and coil pulsar on side not working started firing but then the other side that was working failed.
Luckily I got a brand new ignitor for 125.00 shipping included and part is on its way.
I'll post results after I install new ignitor.

I installed ignitor and my 425 fires on both cylinders.Runs great.

That's good to hear, too bad it died to begin with as they are not cheap.

I got lucky and got a new one off eBay for under 120.00 shipping included.
They are a pain to mount under starter and I ended up removing motor mount bolts and raising motor. Also pulled starter.
