Aftermarket 3rd Function Kit?

I'm thinking about picking up a root grapple and controlling it with a third function. I understand Kubota's 3rd function kit is $900 in the box. Everything Attachments sells one for $695. Does anyone have any suggestions on a reasonable kit and/or any wisdom regarding whether a novice should attempt to install it?

I'm fairly new to tractors, however I installed my 3rd function valve when I bought my tractor. I can't comment on other kits, however the Kubota 3rd function valve kit for my machine was very easy to install. All the plumbing fit like a glove and the instructions were step by step.

I like the W R Long kit, came with bracket to mount solenoid valve and nice joystick top handle for switch. Can curl and grapple at same time.
