The some of the OEM clutch Manufactures are Spicer, Carraro, Alto, and perhaps some others. Many use Spicer Clutches, JD uses some Carraro clutches, the Carraro clutches are build different than others and it makes replacing them $$$$. I should mention that no manufacture is flawless, I have an USA made clutch sitting in the shed that the manufacture failed to balance the castings on. I am going to rebuild the worn Spicer that I have for a spare clutch. I put in a TISCO clutch in my tractor and have no worries about it. For me to replace the clutch I have to pull the engine out because its an Industrial and cannot be split like an ag tractor. To get to the clutch takes about 4 hours of work, so a quality clutch is important to me.

We have used Kentucky Clutch a couple of times. They had excellent prices, fast turn around and the clutches worked just fine.

One of the clutches was a "hard to find" clutch disk and, even though they did not have one "on hand" they could rebuild (ours was not rebuildable) they located a OEM disk within a couple hours and called us with a total deal that was about half the price of one from anywhere else.

I would use them again.

Well I decided to take the advice of a couple of the responders to this post and sent my old clutch off the Fort Wayne clutch and Driveline. After 3 days, got an excellent quote and they're sending the rebuilt back. So far, very painless and faster than I would have expected. I'll let you know how the rebuilt looks when it gets here. Nice to give business to USA company. You know, back in the day, there were outfits like this in every big town. But I looked all over the metro Phila. area for a clutch rebuilder and could not find one. Maybe there is 1 or 2 but if they're there they're not easy to find. Kind of sad that we have to buy overpriced, and in many cases, inferior Chinese goods rather than rebuild our old stuff right here in the US of A. Days gone by.

I am currently faced with a likely clutch job on my Kioti 2010, DK35SE shuttle shift tractor. FWIW, The above JD comment might be quite factual but the general application for my tractor is the same as many other brands and models incl., JD, Cub Cadet, NH and Kioti. I plan to contact both Ft Wayne & KY Clutch for my parts vs. likely much cheaper Chinese ebay clutch assy's vs over priced OE Kioti clutch parts. A OE Kioti clutch assy is near $900 with shipping.

When it comes to clutches (and brakes for that matter), since most contain asbestos I'd venture to say that most if not all come from China and are simply rebranded.

Yup!
Exactly correct!

Really... Have not bought ANY asbestos containing brakes in a long time. Only buy ceramic.
"exactly correct" refers to most available clutch brakes as being Chicom made.
I have absolutely no idea if they are made with ceramic materials or bubble gum.
