Should I go with the manufactures implements or with aftermarket ones (Woods ect.) I am getting two stories from different dealers.

There are actually not that many manufacturers of implements. I don't know who makes the implements for Kubota, but I doubt that it's Kubota itself. The brand you use really depends on the kind of use you'll be doing, and how much you want to spend. If you ask about specific implements, and how you're going to use them, the TBN Brain Trust will be able to give you lots of advice on what you need. I would not let a dealer talk you into buying only implements with the same label as your tractor. That would certainly be the most expensive way to go, but probably not the best way to go.

Let us know specifically what you're looking for, and you'll get plenty of help!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I'm looking for a FEL, Rotortiller, and boxscraper.

Oh, well, those are 3 implements that I have no experience with. But lots of others do! They'll probably want more info, on how you want to use them. OK, guys, let's start giving our new friend some advice!

What is the tractor you own or considering buying?

Tileman,

There will be those who disagree with me, so this is just my .02 cents. I don’t see any advantage to buy the company brand tiller or boxblade. The company didn’t make them anyway. Now the FEL is different, in my opinion. In most cases the factory designed FEL is going for fit the tractor better, be engineered to match the tolerances the tractor can handle and give you a better package for resale or trade in. The factory unit is going to be made by the company or made to the company specifications for a given tractor. The universal FEL’s have to fit so many different brands things just cannot be specific to your tractor. Even if you have to pay more for the factory loader, that is the only way I would go.

Welcome to TBN. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
Ditto on what others have said.
A lot depends on the implements that you are looking for. With my B2910 the ease of putting on and removing the FEL and MMM would make the decision to purchase them from Kubota my only choice. I have several 3PH attachments from different manufactures. All perform as well if not better than a Kubota made one. Shop around and use the search feature on TBN to find threads on all the different types of attachments that you are interested in.
There are also a lot of threads and post that fellow members will lead you to that will answer most questions.
