Kubota L3830 DT & B2710
I have a B2710 I want to sell. Hardly anyone will look at it because it doesn't have a loader. Anybody have any price info on Woods, Bushhog, or other aftermarket loaders?
I think a Kubota LA402 will run about$3300 MSRP? and I don't think dealers will come off of that very much - if any.
Any input on this subject is appreciated.
Anybody need a low hour B2710 without a loader?

FWIW, I was looking at a Ford 1700 earlier this summer and it was going to cost about $3200 to add a Woods loader.

Waiting on a call back on the cost of a Woods for a 3400 get a less expensive QA then the Kubota way.

Dealer mentioned they did a lot of Woods loaders on 4400s but hadn't done a 3400 yet.

With the different loader's out there, I would show buyers a quote and let them get the one they want. Otherwise you spend the money and they offer a lesser amount.

Wish you had more pto hp..

I was quoted $3800 for a Woods 1008 loader.
I did not ask about other models. I think a 1006 would be alright?
I got a quote on a Kubota LA402:
LA402-1 Loader
B1616 54" bucket
sub-total $3376.75
Sales Tax 211.99
Total $3588.74

Check out the Bush-Hog loaders. For my L2800, I was able to get a stronger loader from BH than the Kubota match, for less money.

What do you need the pto hp for?
I pull a 6' finish mower with no problems at all.
It is listed at 20 hp at the pto but it does beter than the old L245 with 22 pto hp.
I don't know what size bush hog would be too big.
For light bush hog work, 5' might be ok?
I would inquire about specific uses for this tractor because it has performed impressively for me.

FWIW, a Woods 1012 loader and qa 60" HD bucket came in at $4500 for a 3400, about $100 less than the standard 3400 loader and qa convrsion.

I am biased toward a 25 pto hp minimum for a 6" chipper. Less works for many but my brother has occasional issues with 4" chipper on 20 pto hp.

I did not consider the use of a chipper. I have no experience with one either. I'll keep that info in mind if I ever consider buying a chipper.
Thanks.

I am looking at the pto hp question again. Searched TBN for chippers and read about others successfully using 20-24 pto hp. I may just need to lower expectations and save some money.

I rented a 6" self powered chipper and it did great, haven't tried a smaller chipper.
