The TY395 is used in the Jinmas too! I have a 354 with the TY395.

As far as I know the Agracat 3720 is a JM354, The terraplane sure looks to me like a privatelabled tractor from the DF factory. I know the Koyker mounting kit for the 3720 is what I use on the 354/304 JM models

I'd ask you to double check that, as x395x is a generic chinese designator representing number of cylinders and bore. The T designates it as a tractor motor - not sure about the Y. Yours is a 3 cylinder, each of 95mm diameter, made by Yangdong. The DongFeng 395 engine is quite possibly a Shandong.

Sorta like putting 5.0 Ford parts in a 5.0 Chevy.

Well Shifty, I know there's a lot of rebadging going on. But my dealer tried to sell me a green and yellow Agracat 3720 to replace my red JM254. Color aside, it bore absolutely no physical or mechanical resemblence to ANY Jinma I'd ever seen ANYwhere. Since I had little interest in the trade, I didn't write down any of the tractor or engine labeling details. But I do remember at the time, I could find no obvious association with Jinma or Yangdong whatsoever.

HI all,

The Agracat 3720A is Yancheng (JINMA) 304, (3710I is JM354) with TY395 engine common to Jinma, and even th Gulin dozer.

Agracat went to great length so hide the Jinma heritage. The latest versions had completely different hoods, molded fiberglass Transmission covers etc.

This engine is not SHandong which have the brand name Feidong, such as the KM454 and KM554 have.

Parts should be availabe, (except some of the customized bits) regardless of the outcome of Agracat, from any of the dealers importing the 300 series JInmas.

I heard that Agracat had some 800 LG (Korean) tractors on the ground, wonder what will happen to them? or the dozens of small dealers who bought two or three.

Thanks for clearing that up Chip. And I agree totally - if that 3720 is actually a Jinma, AgraCat did one helluva job of hiding it. Strange though, the one I looked at had a four cylinder. And the factory name on the fenderwell didn't read anything like the one on my JM254

Well, after searching around on my Agracat 3720 and from the information everyone has given me, I find that on the inner fender next to the seat is ( Agracat-304 ). And checking some of the web sites with the Jinma I find that the 35hp tractor they sold me is a 30 hp tractor ( both the agracat and the Jinma look just alike).......the engine looks the same as that of the Jinma 304. by this, I don't know if you can really go by the metal tags....or, this tractor is several others....LOL...don't know...
