Who owes who an apology and why? I'm ready to see some facts about some of this that is being discussed. There are too many people on this board that don't own Montanas putting down the brand. This board should be for people who own Montana tractors to share info on them and not for those that want to come here and stir up trouble.

Please allow me to completely but respectfully disagree with you. If you limit ANY of the forums to ONLY those people who own the brand then you will never be able to objectively discuss much.
I don't see people like cowboydoc or JerryG as troublemakers on TBN in fact they seem to be clear voices that ring true in any forum they are in. When they are wrong they are man enough to say so. When they are right (which is the vast majority of the time) their post stand as examples of truth.
There is way too much brand loyalty in some of the forums and it is this brand loyalty that causes people with blinders on to ignore or overlook some facts. Every brand has warts, weakspots and flaws. We'd all be better off if we each accepted that fact.

Hello All. Let me take some time to respond to this. I have pretty much just been a silent observer but here are my thoughts.
Montana took a good product and has done a spectacular job of making it a brand people recognize, buying and a product with an ever growing dealer network with great company support via low rate financing, parts support, media support etc.
I am sure there are now people who want a bit of the action. Now I can't say who, what, when, where, how or why so I won't speculate. Here is what I will say as a general statement.
Companies are sued day in and day out. I bet money every single tractor company out there has an always pending number of suits against them. This is the cost of doing business as I see it. When millions are involved there will always be suits.
Anyone can bring suit against anyone. Some moron sues because they spill hot coffe in their lap and it is McDonalds fault, an armed thief gets shot breaking into someones house and he sues because they used excessive force and the list goes on.
We can all speculate all we want, it does not matter. Jerry has some knowledge of this apparently but is being careful until he knows more. No matter what it is just a document with one persons side of some unknown event and that is it.
We will just wait and see what happens I suppose.
