This is what it says in the report I posted:Chosing the Right TireDoc_Bob said:How does it ride on gravel or asphalt? Looks like you can swim with those fins! How do they compare to AG tires in use?

Mine does not those R-2's on it. What Mike posted is correct about those tires. I would guess if used in drier, harder or rocky surfaces, you could easily spin off one or more of those lugs? Where they would tear off the tire.Doc_Bob said:How does it ride on gravel or asphalt? Looks like you can swim with those fins! How do they compare to AG tires in use?

Right! My error. Sorry.
It's interesting to note that the tire in the pic above obviously has a 45 degree lug angle. Now look again at the tires on the KAMA. Those look to be about 25 degrees. I wonder who makes them?
In the report I posted, the only mention of forresty was in the part about tire construction. It stated that bias ply tire sidewalls were more resistant to punctures and the abuse in forrestry operations. I will have to start looking at the tires on timberjacks around here.Maka said:For our area and forrestry use R4's seem to be the preference.

You are soo right. My R1s cannot go near grass or the lawn will be destroyed. Especially if wet.InlineDieselFan said:Great traction can be had, but the price is to tear up the ground, you must choose what is most important to you.
