50 here yesterday, Rain all day today until mid afternoon, then snow. Over 4 inches on ground allready at 6 pm. Supposed to snow all night, wind at 60mph and a low of about 10 at 6AM. Gotta love New England.... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I've been out thinning the forest for almost 4 weeks now, BEAUTIFUL wheather we've been having here in the NW. A friend of mine had his parents visit from California to escape the rain...Now that's GOT to be a first.
Downside is the state is already looking at water rationing, snowpack in the mountains is down 70%. Then comes the fire season, if El Niño continues it's going to be a bad year for the smoke jumpers /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif.

Just saw the news tonight, Mt. St. Helens is at it again. At least the snow will melt, this stuff really does a number on equipment.

I'm glad that it's spring somewhere..... but I just finished an hour and a half of moving another foot of snow. And they are predicting more on Friday. The horses are the only ones around here that love fresh fallen snow. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Rozett, The snow isn't the problem, Its the 50 MPH wind and the near zero temps that made this one a pain in the frostbitten butt.

Down here, we were in the 40's in the morning ...raining and all the gravel nice and soupy... then the nice wet snow came. The plowing was more like finish grading. I've got windrows of frozen 'snud' all along my driveway.

We did not get that much snow, but sure is dang cold 7 deg this morning and winds about 20 MPH. that is just way to cold for this month, went to a tool sale this morning bought about 15 items and while they was getting it out of the trailer, i froze my dis here off. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Spring is here? Then somebody forgot to tell the weatherman! I just plowed another fresh 4" of snow here in Little Rhody for the umpteenth time this winter! Boy am I glad I picked up my little b7100 last year. I have a brushhogging job lined up that I can't even think about getting to for at least two weeks or more, and that's just based on the snow we already have on the ground. But I am glad that it's spring somewhere, at least I know there is some hope.

JUST GOT THE OFFICAL REPORT: spring will be APRIL 32 AND LAST TILL APRIL 33 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif then we have a summer which will last 3 days starting on about july 22 then back to winter. I just finished moving another 18" of spring, and it's still snowing. My seat is getting sore.
