YM1500. Changed fuel filter. filled bowl and filter.(overflowing as I tightened it)cranked. almost started. now it wont start.

Air Bound?
Where to bleed from and what's the procedure?

There is a hex nut (about 12 mm) with a phillips drive, above the filter a few inches, as I remember. When I changed the filter in mine, I loosened that nut until fuel ran out. Then I tightened it and was able to start the tractor with no problem.

Correction: It is a hex bolt head, not a nut. This #@?! computer isn't smart enough to print what I mean. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

There is a thread here somewhere that has really good instructions on bleeding the fuel system. Have you tried searching the forum? Do you have the manuals? It is in there too.It isn't too hard but the EPA would probably have a heart attack if they ever saw us doing it.
