Buying Advice Air compressor to inflate tractor tires

Yes, the uprights are nice, but we have units small enough to put in a FEL bucket or back of a pickup with our generator to air up a tire on the "back 40" either to repair it or get it to where it can limp back to the shop where the tools etc are.

One thing I like about a horizontal compressor on wheels is that it can be easily moved. My compressor is kept in the shop. Several times I have wheeled it to the attached garage to air a car or truck tire to be able to drive to the tire shop. I can also pull it into the yard if a trailer tire is flat. A compressor is nice to have. Beyond airing tires you will find it handy to blow debris out of the radiator if you do any bush hogging or to just blow dust off the tractor and implements.

Rec'd a flyer in the mail today from OReilly Auto for a Compressor and includes air tools. Scanned a picture of the ad. I had air tools for a while before using them and once I used them they are great especially for using on a tractor. I have a 12v booster battery that has an air compressor built in, take it anywhere you need to jump start an engine or pump some air.
