Does anyone have an air compressor mounted on their tractor? It sure would be handy around our place. Could be PTO, hydraulic, or 12V electric.

An engine mounted air compressor is a beast of an animal that is typically splash lubricated
from the engine crancase(a) unless it is a separate base mounted unit(b).

a. Borg Warner Tu-flow air brake compressor-belt driven

b. Gardner Denver belt driven air compressor

for the money involved, a used gas engine driven air nailer with the
twin tanks would be better if you need air simply by mounting it on a
three point hitch carrier or in the front loader bucket.

I have and use a tractor pto mounted radial Eolomatic compressor. Fuel management System | Diesel Fuel Management system | Cube 70MC | Piusi Cube.

JD also made a single cylinder pto compressor that you see occasionally on eBay or at farm auctions.
