Mowing Air ride seat on a zero turn?

I love my ZD326 but on rough ground the suspension seat is a back breaker.

Has anyone here tried installing an air ride seat on their zero turn? I'm looking for links to seat and suspension suppliers.

They do make just the air suspension that you use your own seat. "Little cheaper" . The whole unit gets pricey. Probably $600 and more. They do look nice though.

The air carriage thats used on the ZD1511 can go over to other models. Not sure on the ZD326, but it may fit.

The new Hustler Super Z HD I bought last spring came with a Grammer air suspension seat. I have some rough lawn and the air seat is a lot better than the spring suspension seat I installed on my old Hustler Z. I have chronic lower back problems and the air seat really helps. Many zero turn mowers have a common seat mounting bolt pattern, so a replacement seat is a bolt on install. The air seats are expensive, but to me very worth it if you have rough ground. Vic

I'm assuming you have adjusted your spring tension on the seat to balance your weight? The seats on the ZDs I think are some of the best seats Kubota has. You must be running over some very rough ground!!
