Pretty much my sentiments also. I've had IH, Massey Ferguson, Kubota, and Ford equipment over the last 50 years and all were pretty good. I would just add that service after the sale is important --- to get parts in timely fashion and to have good competent shop personnel. The most successful tractor dealer in my area is a John Deere dealer and I firmly believe it is because he has the best service department in central PA, possibly the entire state. Most people who use equipment often over the years have had several brands of tractors. I can only speak for myself but I have found good equipment is available under several different brands. I liked the older Case, IH, Ford and Deere, of these Deere is still intact with good parts availability.
Lots of people think the Deere green paint is more costly, my take on it is over a longer period of time their all about the same. That is a well taken care of tractor of almost any brand will last for many years and the difference in cost of ownership is minimal.
I have all Deere equipment today because this brand is well represented in my locale and the fact that I have had good luck with them over the last 45 years. I can only go by the experiences I have had to decide what to buy.
Relative to the air suspension seat, 30 or 40 years ago it wouldn't be of much interest to me but nowadays it's a big deal with this bad back and tired bones.
