Thanks for posting the photos.

I see two upright silos in several shots. Was your property part of a dairy farm at one time?

This piece of property was one of the first Palmer colony farms. in 1936.
I'm not sure of all the history behind it.
It did have a colony barn of the property quite a few yrs ago.
It colapsed and got hauled away.

We just mow the quack hay and raise some potatoes on this property.
Any questions on the equipment?

When is your first cutting in AK? Do you get a 2nd?

May thru June useally is our first in some cases.
Depends if we skimp on fertilizer and when the rain comes.
One of our fields, we haven't even cut yet.

Second cutting is rare.
Fertilizer and rain is our limiting factor.

Question on the old farmall hooked up to the tedder, do you have two auxiliary hydraulic pumps? Both are on the right side (when looking from the front) and one appears to be beside the alternator and the other is farther forward and just above the front axel.

Can you post another link to your YouTube channel? My iPad won't let me select the one in your signature.

Wow!! Your pics bring back fond memories. We lived just down the road in Anchorage for 17 years ('65 - '82). The Matanuska valley is truly a wonderful farming area. We always enjoyed fall in the valley, the colors, the fair and the roadside veggie stands.
